They always wheel their carts around the corner

pulling up to the register

With a good story-

A joke.

Or just shooting the breeze-

A random nugget of information they think needs to be shared.

No sensors-

You literally do not know what they are going to blurt out.

Usually cobbling something together

With pieces and parts that might work.

Or killing time before breakfast at the restaurant down the road.

They are just joyful.

Even the occasional super grumpy one

Makes me laugh.

Probably because he is grumpy and wearing overalls.

Or better yet,

The last project they were working on

-you are golden-

P.S. Is anyone else finding a lot of soybeans at the bottom of their washer or caught in the dryer vent?
