My aunt would pack
As many cousins as she could fit in her car.
Monsters cookies and juice boxes
On our way to Indianapolis.
She Introduced us to the ABC car game.
At least a half a dozen pairs of eyes-
Glued to every passing billboard sign.
She refereed from the driver’s seat-
-more than a few times-
When someone cheated
Claiming they saw it first-
Or a letter was found-
When it obviously wasn’t.
Bless her heart-
She was a teacher 100% of the time.
